Este no es un libro periodístico, ni una biografía exhaustiva, ni una oda al personaje. Es el testimonio del paso de Lucha por el mundo, de su capacidad de caminar codo a codo con mujeres que dejan de ser víctimas y se convierten en activistas. Es también, en cierta forma, un documento histórico; reconstruye un episodio de la vida de México que han intentado borrar de los registros, pero que sale a la luz con el nombre de cada mujer violentada.
